UPDATED! Orientation

There were quite a few people who had a problem with Friday, so we've eliminated it and will see you all day Saturday instead.

Our first official activity will be the Orientation on August 25th. While it is not mandatory, we highly recommend that you attend this orientation even if you are only taking one course with us. So, please mark your calendar and plan to join us all day, Saturday, August 25 (8:30am - 5pm). If you are unable to attend, we will provide an alternate online orientation. RSVP to Julia by August 17. The location is Milton Hall, rm 81 (downstairs).

Saturday lunch will be brought in, please bring about $10 or your lunch with you, also a hospitality table will be provided.

See our program calendar  for more dates.

UPDATED! Orientation

Thanks everyone who was able to attend the Orientation on August 25th. If you were unable to attend or just joined classes already in progress, please go follow the Online Version directions in the Agenda on the Orientation page.

Graduate Certificate Status

Good news everyone! The Online Teaching and Learning Certificate Program is now considered a degree plan. On your tuition remission forms, you can answer “yes” to the question "Does the course(s) being taken apply to a degree plan?" If you are not taking this as part of the program, then you will answer “no.”

Getting Admitted

The admission process is important. If you haven't taken a course at NMSU in the past year, you need to be re-admitted. If you will be applying to the Graduate School, the link is - http://gradschool.nmsu.edu/admit-form.html and the phone number is 505-646-2736. Currently, the Online Teaching and Learning Certificate Program is not listed as a selection on the online application. Students are currently selecting non-degree/undeclared but the Graduate School knows who you are and they are working with us to facilitate your appropriate placement.

Tuition Remission

If you will be using a tuition remission form, those are due by August 17 and here is the link:
