Spring 2008 Information

 

 

Courses

For Spring 2008, two courses are provided, CEL 480/580 and CEL 490/590. Courses will be available by Friday evening of the week classes start (January 18). Your instructors for CEL 480/580 are Julia Parra and special guest instructor Frank Odasz. For CEL 490/590, your instructor will be Bethany Bovard with assistance from GA Miley Grandjean. You will meet Frank and Miley at the Orientation.

 

Orientation (see draft agenda)

What: We will start Spring with an optional Face-to-Face Orientation to CEL 480/580 and CEL 490/590.

When: Saturday,  January 19, 2008

Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm (Newbies joining us should show up at 9:00am for some update time)

Where: Milton Hall, rm 81 (downstairs).

Bring: Notepad, pen, laptop computer (if you have one and come early to set up with the wireless)

RSVP: to Julia by January 16, 2008 (extended due to new students)

 

Saturday lunch will be brought in, please bring about $10 or your lunch with you, also a hospitality table will be provided.

Registration

We are registering you for all of your OTL courses. We do need your Banner IDs if you are new and haven't already sent that.

Banner ID numbers can be found in your MyNMSU:

 

  • Go to http://my.nmsu.edu

  • Login (or Activate your account)

  • Click on Student and Financial Aid tab

  • On the far right is your NMSU ID Number, that is the number I need
